An Impromptu Conversation with Corey Deitz about the 2012 Guide Book:
#1: Besides end-of-the-world scenarios, The 2012 Guide Book presents an overview of the history of calendars and how the Mayans wound up with one that seems to end on December 21, 2012. Not everyone knows Stonehenge is a calendar. What does Stonehenge have in common with good dental care?
#2: During a zombie attack, whom should you definitely throw under the zombie bus first?
#3: What is "The Snow Cone" scenario and how could it unleash killer Polar bears and murdering penguins?
#4: What did you discover holding Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code in your left hand while with your right fingers typing certain words into an anagram generator?
#5: What are the two errors in the New Testament you uncovered and how does this relate to the end-of-the-world?
#6: You claim the Obama Administration will introduce something called "Hellfare" which will allow the survival have-nots to compete with the survivalist-haves. Can you explain a little more?
#7: You uncovered secret messages by typing the president of Iran's name into an anagram generator along with what other name? What were those messages?
#8: You claim evil aliens from outer space might infiltrate into the population through an insidious plan that revolves around Starbucks and bloggers. Can you explain?
#9: What is the first rule of Bunker club?
#10: Why have the Norwegians built a global seed vault and how does fermented trout, known as rakfisk, play into all this?
#11: You claim the San Andreas Fault line does not put California at risk. Instead, it's the rest of the country that might fall into the ocean. Care to explain?
#12: You worry that machines might turn on us and end the world. Specifically, toasters. How exactly does that play out?
#13: Why do you say we have much to be worried about from rats, cats, and dogs? And, could you tell us about the rat bomb from World War II?
#14: In your book, the 2012 Guide Book, you say the environmentalists are giddy with excitement that humans and all their carbon foot prints might be wiped out on December 21, 2012. Can you expand on that?
